BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Darien Rowayton Bank will soon be opening an operations center at an iconic new home in downtown Bridgeport.
“The 855 Main Street location is an ideal move for our institution,” said Bob Kettenmann, president of Darien Rowayton Bank. “We have been seeking an expansion location for months and with our specific requirements, Main State Ventures was able to hone in on the newly renovated space.
"Once we saw what was possible at the building, we knew downtown Bridgeport would be a perfect location for our expansion. Our entire team is delighted to join other top corporations in the downtown Bridgeport area.”
Darien Rowayton Bank signed a six-year lease with Main Street Ventures for 11,910 square feet of office space in the renovated 100,000-square-foot downtown office building at 855 Main Street. There will be space for 120 employees in the new office space.
With decades of experience in private and commercial banking serving Darien, Rowayton and Southport, the financial services firm specializes in a customer-centric and community-oriented approach that delivers personal attention to its customers.
As it grew, the bank decided to move into a modern space that offered convenience and room to grow.
The office building has undergone extensive renovations to the lobby, common areas and parking garage and recently completed an overhaul of its mechanical system and installation of new energy efficient windows. Upper floors offer views of Long Island Sound and downtown Bridgeport. It is just steps from Metro-North and the Bridgeport Transit Center.
Main State Ventures is a joint venture of Forstone Capital and Spinnaker Real Estate Partners.
Darien Rowayton Bank's main branch and headquarters is at 1001 Post Road in Darien. It also has branches at 138 Rowayton Ave. in Rowayton and 3695 Post Road in Southport.
