The website was overhauled in an effort to reflect a more contemporary design with new functionality and features, providing ease-of-use and faster accessibility to chamber events and membership information.
“My goal was to develop a site that was clean, mobile friendly and easy to use ... and one that highlighted the chamber benefits, events and member activities right on the home page,” site creator Regina Madwed said in a statement.
One of the highlight features is the new chamber calendar. With just a quick click, the viewer can go directly to the event, register, pay and receive an acknowledgement in a matter of seconds.
“The new website includes a variety of subject areas with more in-depth copy, including: Member Benefits, Member Business Directory, the Community/Town, Chamber Executive Director Beverly Balaz said in a statement.
"Plus, new to the site is: Chamber Professional Groups, Featured Events, New Member Welcome, Business District Areas, Maps, and a News & Press section to better inform the reader about current information on the Chamber, its members and the town.”
