Sisters Lori Miller, left, and Courtney DeLallo, profiled in an earlier Daily Voice story, said there will be giveaways for the first 20 purchases along with a raffle basket. The sale at their fashion-forward gift shop goes on through Saturday, Oct. 22 (the actual store "birthday" is Oct. 20).

Said DeLallo, a Monroe resident: "We never expected to be as successful and as well received as we have been. We are so grateful for the support from this town and our wonderful customers that help us to keep our doors open each day."

Added Miller, who lives in Fairfield:  We will be adding many new items in the upcoming weeks, as well as doing more collaborations with our local vendors. Come visit; we'd love to see everyone!"

The Mason Jar is located at 266 Main St., (203) 880-5855, www.themasonjarmonroe.com/ .
