Fairfield Reveals Findings of Economic Development Survey

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The town of Fairfield is sponsoring a facilitated workshop from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Fairfield Museum and History Center to discuss the initial findings of a business and resident survey on economic development.

Fairfield's downtown shopping could be one reason why the town attracts new residents and grows its population.

The workshop is part of the town's larger initiative to develop a long-range economic development plan. The workshop will be facilitated by the Connecticut Economic Resource Center, which is working to help the town formulate a strategy and establish actionable goals and priorities in its economic development offerings.

Workshop participants will receive a brief progress report on the work performed to date as well as the initial survey findings, before breaking into smaller groups for a facilitated in-depth discussion of key topics and themes. Seating is limited, so advanced registration is requested.
