Fairfield's Media Wave Sells Off Stock In Going Out Of Business Sale

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Media Wave spent the last 17 years renting movies and video games to customers, but the Fairfield store is now selling off that collection before it shutters its doors for good, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The closing of the DVD rental store is merely a sign of the times, owner Paul Jordanopoulos told the Citizen. Technology has created an environment where movie watchers don't even have to leave the house to get their favorite flick, the Fiarfield Citizen said. 

Even still, some customers of the old standard will miss the appeal of walking down the aisles and finding the perfect movie, the Fairfield Citizen said.
