Pure Barre is new to town, with other locations in Westport and Darien. Laura Laboissonniere of Westport is the owner of all three studios, which all opened this year.

The fitness studio focuses on 50-minute classes that combine Pilates, strength training and yoga. Those who attend classes use a ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to music.

“One of the best things about Pure Barre is that it is low impact, and you will start seeing results in about 10 classes,” Head Trainer and Assistant Manager Nicole Buyskes said.
