FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce’s emerging professional group Fairfield Emerging Leaders Organization will have its first networking event from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 aboard the yacht, “Prudence,” docked in front of the Delamar Greenwich Harbor Hotel.
Provided by Greenwich Harbor Cruises LLC, ticket prices include drinks and appetizers. Leaving from the dock at the luxury Delamar Hotel in Greenwich, passengers will enjoy cruising around Greenwich Harbor with historic flair on the yacht “Prudence,” a 62-foot passenger vessel.
Fairfield Emerging Leaders Organization is an emerging professionals group within the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. The new organization of dynamic leaders includes professionals from many business sectors and is comprised of entry to management levels. Its mission is to provide a platform for emerging professionals to engage in business sponsored activities and connect with like-minded individuals that will enhance professional skills, while promoting social and civic opportunities for the enrichment of the business community.
In addition, it is responsible for raising money to provide scholarships for graduating Fairfield high School students, either attending a business school or majoring in business. In June 2015, it awarded its first two scholarships – one to a student from Ludlowe High School and one to a student from Warde High School.
Seating is limited; reservations are required by Monday, May 23. Tickets are $60 for members and $75 for future members.
