Pure Barre will hold an open house for the one-year anniversary and offer free classes for the entire day with raffles and treats during each class. The open house will be from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Visitors can stop by for a studio tour, a chance to win a free month of classes, to enjoy refreshments and snacks, and join in raffles and give-aways during each class.
Free classes are at 5:45 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m., noon, 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
Exclusive membership and package specials will be available on Wednesday only.
Retail discounts of up to 50 percent off will also be offered at Pure Barre.
To take a class, wear pants that are carpi or full-length, a top that covers your midriff and socks. Arrive 15 minutes early if this will be your first class. Classes open to new, existing and previous clients.
Pure Barre is a 55-minute class that combines Pilates, strength training and yoga, according to owner Laura Laboissonniere. Using the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to music, Pure Barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs, abs and arms, and burns fat, she said. Clients see results in 10 classes and have fun while doing it.
