“Southport has been very good to The Russell Agency over the last 75 years. My brother George and I thought that the best way to thank the Southport community for their support was to make a donation to the Pequot Library Association,” said Timothy Russell, senior member of The Russell Insurance Agency.

“The Pequot Library was founded to bring literature, art, music, science and the humanities to the community. We are lucky to be located in a community with such a great resource and are proud to support Pequot Library.”

The Pequot Library is grateful for the continued sponsorship and support of The Russell Insurance Agency, said Alison Barry, president of the Pequot Library Board of Trustees.

“Tim, George and so many of the Russell family have been staunch supporters of the library for many decades," Barry said. "This support has enabled us to continuously provide the many programs that our community has come to love, including, but not limited to, Derby Day, the art show and our caroling party. Our library truly benefits from our close community relationships, such as the support we receive from The Russell Agency."
