FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Entrepreneurs in Fairfield will have a place to turn for free advice on all things business, thanks to a Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) opening at Old Town Hall Wednesday.

First Selectman Michael Tetreau and CTSBDC Associate Director Joe Ercolano will be on hand for the grand opening reception, which begins at 1 p.m. at Old Town Hall, 611 Post Road.

CTSBDC provides no-cost, confidential business advising services to small business owners and entrepreneurs in every stage of business development and growth in the state.

CTSBDC has opened a few local offices in recent months.

In December, the organization christened its Norwalk office in Room 100 of Norwalk City Hall. Stamford resident Tony Peters, an experienced entrepreneur, staffs the center on Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The center also has locations at the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, the Danbury Innovation Center, Newtown’s C.H. Booth Library, and the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.
