“Dreaming Out  Loud ” by R. John Ichter

September 2012—Troy Fine Art proudly presents the work of R. John Ichter, an award-winning artist who is will be presenting a live demonstration on opening eve. Also known as “Bob” to his friends, Ichter’s romantic pastels are richly colored and hand-rubbed onto lushly textured black suede archival board. The strengths of Ichter’s pastels include vibrant, saturated colors and strong compositions. According to Ichter each piece is designed to evoke a certain time of day while transporting the viewer to another place.

For Ichter, autumn and dusk are favorite themes, which have been inspired by landscapes from around the world. Troy Amuso, principal at Troy Fine Art Services, Inc. says “In all of his work, intense competing colors co-exist harmoniously and create a sense of lush, vibrant, and idyllic natural world.”
 
Collectors range from well know celebrities to Fortune 500 companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, Equifax, Bank of America, and The Ritz Carlton. Opening reception and live demonstration is on Friday September 21st from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. RSVP is required as space will be limited.
