"Bark In The Park" takes place on Sunday, May 22, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Lake Mohegan Park: Come to the park and support a local nonprofit, Little Black Dog Rescue. The event is hosted by The Buzz Truck and The Two Oh Three. There will be lawn games, raffle items, coffee and frozen treats from Alene's Ice Cream Truck - and dogs for adoption. Find out how to get involved by becoming a foster family, hosting a bake sale or just by bringing an adoptable dog on a walk in town to get noticed.

State Sen. Tony Hwang "Train Stop" Coffee Chat on Wednesday, May 25: Visit The Buzz Truck at Fairfield Metro from 6-9 a.m. The re-election campaign for State Senator Tony Hwang wants to give out a morning cup of coffee with help from The Buzz Truck at the Fairfield Metro Commuter Parking Lot, Northbound Side.

This event is part of a series of "train stop" coffee chats to help get a pulse on the issues at hand among Fairfield County residents and rail commuters, one of which is the lack of concessions and restroom facilities at the Fairfield Metro Railroad Station.

The Buzz Truck is a Fairfield-based mobile coffee bar serving organic, locally-roasted coffee and treats. Together with Hwang, The Buzz Truck will have permission to enter the commuter lot and treat residents to hot coffee and tea with their choice of dairy and non-dairy milk and sweeteners.
