Bridgeport, Fairfield Restaurants Collaborate For Bo Ssäm Dinner Event

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Walrus + Carpenter and Mecha Noodle Bar are hosting a Bo Ssäm dinner event on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. at Walrus + Carpenter.

Traditional Bo Ssäm is a Korean dish of spiced pork, served with a variety of sauces and toppings in a bib lettuce leaf. The dinner combines Eastern-flavor and spices with Western-smoking techniques. The dinner is for up to 40 guests, and will be served family-style with drink pairings.

Visuals, themes and taste for the dinner are inspired by early ‘70s cult movies, with special inspiration being pulled from “Way of the Dragon,” featuring Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris as metaphorical-representatives of Asian cuisine (Mecha Noodle Bar) and Southern barbecue cuisine (Walrus + Carpenter.)

Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased here.
