RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – British rock band Renaissance is bringing the orchestral rock that made it famous in the 1970s to the Ridgefield Playhouse Oct. 19.

The concert will be performed in two acts, one when it performs its album “Novella” in its entirety and then selections from its  newest album, “Grandine Il Vento.”

Singer Annie Haslam and guitarist Michael Dunford have been the core of the group since the beginning. Right now the band includes keyboardist Rave Tesar, bassist/vocalist David J. Keyes, drummer Joe Goldberger and keyboardist Jason Hart.

During the concert, the band will revisit the harmonies and lyrics that embody its compelling international themes, with fresh interpretations of its most admired compositions.

For tickets, $50, call the box office at 203-438-5795, or order online.
