Then bravely leave your Shire and join the Fellowship as you wander the dark and empty Fairfield Library to search for clues to solve this Middle Earth mystery. But beware of the orcs, goblins and other dark, evil things lurking in the stacks! Don’t forget your flashlight.

Participants will meet Saturday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8:15 p.m. in the Rotary Room at the Fairfield Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Register early (if you dare), Mystery Nights are the library's most popular annual event.
