Explore Fairfield's Hidden Gardens In 23rd Annual Tour

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Five private properties in Westport and Fairfield will open their exclusive gardens to the public for the 23rd annual Hidden Gardens Tour, presented by the Westport Historical Society, on Sunday, June 8.

The gardens, located at homes in Greens Farms, downtown Westport, Greenfield Hill and Stratfield, will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tour-goers can start or finish their rounds by checking out the Garden Market on Veterans Green, adjacent to Westport Historical Society headquarters.

Vendors and the market include CreativImpulse, Catch All Gifts, Cidar Mill Designs, Jean Forte Gifts, The Olive Oil Factory, Thorn Hill, Care of Trees, Anita Designs, Connecticut Gardener Magazine, and Tower Garden by Juice Plus.

After the garden tour and market, the Garden Party wil be held on Veterans Green, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages provided by local restaurants and caterers such as Blue Lemon, Finalmente Trattoria, Geronimo’s, Matsu Sushi, Spotted Horse, Little Kitchen, Gold’s Delicatessen, Isabelle et Vincent, Liquor Locker, Caledonia Spirits and Miami Bay Beverage Company.A silent and live auction will be held while live jazz music is played.

Ticket prices are $40 for Westport Historical Society members, $50 for nonmembers and $55 if purchased on the day of the tour. Tickets to the Garden Party are $50.
