Fairfield Hosts Lecture For Millennial Job Seekers

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Job-staffing experts Maureen Mackey and Lu Guasco will present information for Millennials who are searching for jobs on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Topics include: standing out from the crowd, application and interview etiquette, and what not to say on the first day.

The library is hosting a series of Jobs programs this fall, including:

  • Over 40 and Looking for Work, Oct. 19
  • LinkedIn for Professionals and Job Seekers Nov. 19
  • Critiquing LinkedIn Profiles” November 23
  • Marketing Yourself: Branding, Dec. 3
  • Advanced Resume Techniques Dec. 14

The event kicks off  at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room at the Main Library. It is free, but registration is requested.
