“Shop & Stroll Into Spring” is set from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 26.
“This is a great opportunity to celebrate the arrival of spring, support our local businesses and enjoy a fun night out with family and friends,” Tetreau said.
The event will see participating shops in downtown Fairfield stay open late and offer patrons an assortment of complimentary hors d’oeuvres and seasonal refreshments, along with dinner or drink specials throughout the evening from restaurants.
For younger residents, Tumble Jungle at 111 Black Rock Turnpike plans a “Parents Night Out” promotion for children from 3-12. It includes a pizza dinner, games in the gym, arts and crafts, zip lining, all of Tumble Jungle’s inflatables and more. The cost is $30 per child and $20 for any additional siblings. Signing up in advance is required, and that can be done in by stopping by or calling (203) 345-6208.
“The Chamber of Commerce is happy to be partnering with the Town on this event as it will give our merchants another opportunity to open their doors to the community, meet new customers from surrounding towns and provide a wonderful shopping experience,” said Beverly Balaz, Chamber of Commerce president.
Businesses or organizations interested in participating can call Fairfield Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart at (203) 256-3120 or Balaz at (203) 255-1011.
