Fairfield Museum To Give Meeting, Author Talk On 'Valiant Ambition'

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The annual meeting of the members of the Fairfield Museum will be followed by an "Evening Lecture with Nat Philbrick: Valiant Ambition" at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 at the Fairfield Museum and History Center.

This event is exclusively for members of the Fairfield Museum. Be a part of the discussion about the museum’s upcoming plans for the year.

Following the meeting, award-winning author Nathaniel Philbrick will speak on his latest novel, "Valiant Ambition: George Washington, Benedict Arnold, and the fate of the American Revolution."

It is an account of the middle years of the American Revolution and the tragic relationship between George Washington and Benedict Arnold. The book will be released May 10.
