FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield University will host a three-part film series exploring The Irish in Film beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Multimedia Room of the University’s DiMenna-Nyselius Library at 7 p.m.
The first film in the series will be “Young Cassidy” (1965), which is based on the autobiographies of Irish playwright Sean O’Casey.
Light refreshments will be served and faculty will be on hand to field questions after the screenings.
This year, the theme of the series will be "Cities." The cities featured in the films are Dublin, Limerick, New York and Cork.
