Fairfield's Pequot Library Finishes Inaugural 'Book Chats' Series

SOUTHPORT, Conn. - By popular demand the Pequot Library in Southport has planned a follow-up series called “Book Chats: Hot off the Press,” which start on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 a.m.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning book "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt ended the season of Pequot Library’s “Book Chats.”

Pictured are over 20 bibliophiles in Pequot Library’s Reading Room. The chat was led by Martha Gates Lord. The fall series features newly published popular books that have been vetted by nationally ranked librarians.

Pequot’s season kicks off with "Lobster Kings" by Alexi Zentner, led by Marianne Pysarchuyk.
