FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield University will host an HD broadcast at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts of opera singers Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky performing in Red Square on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m.
Netrebko and Hvorostovsky performed for one night only in front of an audience of 7,500 people on June 19. The duo performed popular arias and duets from some of the world's best-loved operas, including Giacomo Puccini's "Tosca," Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" and Giuseppe Verdi's "Il Trovatore."
Tickets to the event are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors and $10 for children and students.
