The quartet formed in 1997 and made its debut at Carnegie Hall in 2001. All four members teach in the strings program at Utah State University.
The New York Times hailed the quartet as a "triumph of ensemble playing" for its mix of spontaneity and precision.
The evening's program consists of the following: Benjamin Britten's "Three Divertimenti" Béla Bartók's "Quartet #2, Op. 17" and Ludwig van Beethoven's "Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 127."
Tickets can be purchased at pequotlibrary.org, by calling (203) 259-0356 ext. 19 or at the door on the evening of the performance. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
