FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Career counselors from the state's Department of Labor will be at the Fairfield Public Library on Monday to offer one-on-one, 30-minute critiques of LinkedIn profiles.
Pre-registration is required for anyone wishing to attend the event, scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, in the library's Rotary Room, 1080 Old Post Road.
The library will be holding a number of other job programs in the coming weeks, including "Marketing Yourself: Branding" on Dec. 3 and "Advanced Resume Techniques" on Dec. 14.
The presentations are part of the library’s award-winning Jobs series, now in its sixth year.
The talks are supplemented by a LinkedIn networking group, one-on-one career counseling sessions, Job Search Boot Camp, podcast recordings of over 100 past presentations and an updated collection of job-hunting books.
