Holiday Train Show Rolling Into Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A display of model trains winding through scenery is the mainstay of a 10-year tradition at the Fairfield Museum, where the Holiday Express Train Show will be on display from Saturday through Jan. 3.

Opening night for the Train Show is from 5-8:30 p.m. Friday.

The entire museum will be decorated for the holidays, with a Victorian dollhouse among the featured exhibits.

The museum also will offer an array of workshops in December. 

There will be a toy drive for Al’s Angels Saturday, Dec. 12 and a food drive for Operation Hope Monday, Dec. 14.

The Fairfield Museum at 370 Beach Road is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $5 for adults; $3 for students and seniors; free for children younger than 5.
