Illustrator Nicole Tadgell Spins Tales At Southport's Pequot Library

SOUTHPORT, Conn. -- Nicole Tadgell, the illustrator of "Friends for Freedom: The Story of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass," will speak Saturday, March 14, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Pequot Library.

Tadgell is illustrator of more than 20 books, including "With Books and Bricks: How Booker T. Washington Built a School."  

This program is free and open to the public. An art workshop featuring a hands-on activity to explore storytelling follows the Q & A.

Registration is required for the art workshop and can be made by calling 203-259-0346 ext. 18. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
