The band performed their famous hits -- La Bamba, Set Me Free, Will the Wolf Survive and Don’t Worry Baby-- as well as many other favorites, according to community advisor Kaye Leong, who attended the concert.
The Fairfield Theatre Company is a nonprofit organization for the arts and culture on Sanford Street in downtown Fairfield, which aims to bring together a community of musicians, actors, artists, fans and supporters, according to Leong.
The organization is near completion of its $1.5 million capital campaign and in the midst of building a new performing arts venue next door called The Warehouse with a seating capacity of 640, according to a press release.
The new facility will retain its industrial look and will include state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and a second-floor mezzanine, according to a press release.
