FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Mixed media artist Doug Beube will deliver a lecture entitled "Biblioclast: Breaking the Codex” at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in the multimedia room of the Fairfield University Library. 

Beube’s work has been exhibited at the Yale Art Gallery, Dartmouth College, the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Christopher Henry Gallery in New York City, Seager Gray Gallery in California and SPIN Gallery in Toronto, among many other venues.

He has also held artist-in-residence and fellowship positions at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Minnesota, Maine College of Art, Carleton College and the MacDowell Colony.
