National Book Award Winner Discusses Her New Book At Fairfield University

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A National Book Award winner will read from and discuss her newest book Thursday, May 7, at Fairfield University.

Julia Glass’ latest book, “And The Dark Sacred Night,” revisits characters from the critically acclaimed novel “Three Junes.”

“Three Junes” won the 2002 National Book Award for fiction.

Glass has also been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.

The event is free and open to the public. Glass will also be signing books.

The “And The Dark Sacred Night” discussion and reading will be held at 7 p.m., in the Oak Room at Fairfield University’s Barone Campus Center.
