Pequot Library To Host Fourth Of July Bike Parade, Lawn Games

SOUTHPORT, Conn. – Pequot Library’s annual Fourth of July Bike Parade and Lawn Games will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Five Corners in Southport Village with decorated bikes, scooters and wagons.

A street parade will weave its way to Pequot Library, where kids can get their faces painted, participate in sack races, a hula hoop contest, crafts and an American history trivia contest, according to a press release.

Hot dogs and drinks will be available, and no registration is required for this free event.
