The Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra plays under the stars at the Park beginning at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free, but VIP seating is available for $25. The Steve D’Agostino Band provides pre-concert entertainment starting at 6:15.

Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket, snacks and friends and listen to the music on the beautiful park grounds.

VIP seating includes an upfront seat to the Pops Concert and access to the beer garden.

The concert is followed by the free fireworks spectacular, which is sponsored by PSEG Power CT. The fireworks light up the night sky overlooking the Sound in one of the most dazzling displays in the region.

The Barnum Festival concludes on Sunday with its annual Great Street Parade, which begins at noon. The new parade route starts at the intersection of Park and Capitol Avenues, travels south on Park Avenue and ends in Seaside Park.

The Barnum Festival was founded in 1949 to build community spirit in the region and to pay homage to P.T. Barnum - showman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He founded the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
