Program At Fairfield Library Offers Help With College Financial Aid Forms

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Public Library will host a session on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form on Monday, Feb. 2.

The free program, presented by certified financial planner Dan Patti, is part of the Fairfield library’s free Getting Ready for College series.

The session will include step-by-step instructions on getting the proper information needed to fill out the form, actually filling out the FAFSA application, and what to expect once the financial aid application is submitted.

The presentation will also include advice on how to apply for grants and scholarships, regardless of a family’s income level.

The financial aid workshop will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Rotary room at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

The event is free, but advance registration is requested.
