FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The rock 'n' roll show "Whitford St. Holmes" will play on Sunday, June 19 at 8 p.m. on StageOne at the Fairfield Theatre Company.
Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $48.
The show features Brad Whitford of Aerosmith and Derek St. Holmes of Ted Nugent, as well as Tesla drummer Troy Luccketta and studio ace Chopper Anderson on bass.
Whitford said the quintet is “all old-school rockers, super-passionate about rock 'n' roll, the music that moved us as teenagers.”
They released their first album in more than three decades on June 3.
In 2015, both Whitford and St. Holmes moved to Nashville to resurrect their band. "It's been an unexpected pleasure," Whitford said.
"Derek and I ended up practically being neighbors in Tennessee, so we just started doing what we do, just playing, and we started writing a lot of songs and it was very organic and it's been a lot of fun. We have a real good musical connection, so it's very easy for us to work and play together, and the songs just came."
Whitford and St. Holmes cut basic tracks in two days and wrapped the entire nine-song album in just 12 days.
