All proceeds will raise awareness of and funds for the programs and services of Greenwich-based Kids in Crisis, which provides free, round-the-clock counseling and shelter services for Fairfield County children and families.

Co-chairs Richard Fedeli, Jr. of New Canaan and Briggs Forelli of Darien are organizing the event, which includes 18 holes of golf, pre-round breakfast and post-round dinner and silent as well as live auctions. Call to carts will take place at 11:15 a.m.

Kids Challenge has raised more than $1 million dollars since 1997, through the support of 120 golfers annually, representing a wide range of Fairfield County businesses and residents. “The Kids Challenge Golf Tournament is a great opportunity for golfers and businesses to connect and network,” says Rich Fedeli. “Most importantly, the day raises critical funds for Kids in Crisis.”

“We encourage people to come out and support the cause, whether golfing, attending the dinner, or simply making a donation,” adds Briggs Forelli.

Kids in Crisis (https://www.kidsincrisis.org/) is Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises – domestic violence, mental health and family problems, substance abuse, economic difficulties and more. Since its founding in 1978, Kids in Crisis has helped more than 132,000 Connecticut children and families; last year, 6,184 children and families received assistance from the organization.

Wee Burn Country Club is at 410 Hollow Tree Ridge Road, Darien.
