Southport's Pequot Library Hosts Kids Chess Camp

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Pequot Library in Southport will hold a children's chess camp on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on Jan. 5.

The camp is for kids ages 6 through 14 and will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Students will learn in a hands-on environment taught by three-time high school chess champion of Connecticut Michael Finneran. 

Registration is required. Four sessions costs $50 or two sessions for $25.
