At 7:15 p.m., the outdoor concert begins with the local Merwin Mountain Band. The Big Pillow Fight at plays at 9 p.m.
Many families pitch tents and camp all night on Pequot Library’s 3-acre grounds.
The event is free and open to all ages. Bring your lawn chairs.
During the evening, find out about Pequot Library’s Summer Reading Program and play lawn games for kids, such as badminton and spinnaker.
Fried chicken for the potluck supper is provided by Whole Foods Market in Fairfield.
