A representative from AmeriCares will be accepting a donation of $20 per person at the door for the earthquake relief fund for Ecuador. All of the proceeds, from the donations at the door and from all raffle tickets sold that night, will be donated to the AmeriCares fund.
Lopez will also provide guests with a wide array of delicious and authentic Spanish tapas, and his signature paella, along with one drink, per person (red or white house wine, housemade sangria and domestic beer) during the party. A Spanish guitarist will entertain the crowd. Additionally, there will be raffle tickets sold during the party for prizes such as gift certificates to Taberna, bottles of wine and more.
"We are looking forward to celebrating our one-year anniversary with our regular customers and our new friends while raising funds to assist earthquake victims in Ecuador. We are very happy to be hosting our Party with a Purpose," said Lopez.
Taberna, which opened on June 2015, serves Spanish tapas, inventive antipasti and salads, housemade pasta, enticing entrees – including the chef’s signature paellas – and an array of desserts.
