Take Your Child to the Library Day Planned at Fairfield's Pequot Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Pequot Library will host a "take your child to the library day" on Saturday, Feb. 6. 

The Pequot Library in Southport is open to the public and shares resources with the Fairfield Public Library, but is privately run.

This free event is for children of all ages as this national event reminds communities of their local library's great services and programs.

The Pequot Library will have arts and crafts stations, story hours, block building hours, and a free Music for Youth Concert.

Don’t forget to get your child’s first library card and have his or her picture taken for the library's board. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Pequot Library is located at 720 Pequot Ave.
