The play featuring live music and popular Christmas characters was written 28 years ago by Cindy McGuire, fitness director at The Watermark.

“Our play is a great way for adults and children of all ages to celebrate and spread some holiday cheer this season,” said McGuire. “We enjoy bringing the magical moments of the holidays to life each year and hope our residents and guests will come out to enjoy the performance.”

This event is free of charge and open to the public. Donations would be accepted for the center’s Watermark for Kids program, a national organization founded by Watermark Retirement Communities that aims to empower local children to build character, strengthen their leadership skills and express their creativity. One of this year’s performers, 14 year-old Star Figueroa was chosen as a “Watermark Kid” earlier this year and was given free voice lessons. Star will be playing one of Santa’s elves, and hopes to one day take her acting career to Broadway.

The Watermark is at 3030 Park Ave. on the Bridgeport and Fairfield town line.
