The event will launch the New Beauty Wellness Vitality Bar, which offers full leaf teas, tinctures and fortified honeys from Naturopathica, a plant-based, clean, organic body care and wellness product line.Barbara Close, owner and founder of Naturopathica, will be the guest speaker and educate guests about the product line.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to experience mini spa treatments including thai massage, deep tissue massage, enzyme peels, LED light therapy and more.
Light refreshments will be provided.
New Beauty Wellness offers both medical as well as wellness and beauty services, which is one aspect that makes it unique in the Fairfield County, according to Jennifer Efstathiou, lead aesthetician and part of the management team at the spa.
“New Beauty Wellness offers curated care, treating each guest with a whole body philosophy not just the surface layer," she said.
Medical services New Beauty Wellness provides includes botox, dermal fillers, laser hair removal and laser skin resurfacing.
Spa services include a variety of facial therapies, body massage services and body treatments such as a green tea botanical wrap, which targets the legs, abdomen and arms and includes a green tea and kelp wrap that detoxifies the skin.
New Beauty Wellness also provides wax and tanning services.
The two-level spa contains six treatment rooms and a tranquility room where guests can relax before their treatments.
“Small groups are able to book services together, enjoy smoothies and snacks from Organika, a local plant-based kitchen while relaxing in our tranquility lounge,” Efstathiou said.
As the body ages, skin care concerns such as sun damage, fine lines, and dehydration become challenges, Efstathiou said.
“We pair our medical and facial therapies to treat every aspect of the maturing process," she added.
One of the wellness services New Beauty Wellness offers is FSM, which is frequency specific micro-current. FSM uses extremely low-level electrical currents to treat general pain, nerve and muscle pain, inflammation, collagen production and other health challenges.
“FSM treats the issues in the tissues. FSM treats everything from migraines to inflammation to chronic pain,” she said.
