After a sold-out season opening that played to rave reviews, JIB Productions, the producers of "Play With Your Food," is promising equally enticing fare on Feb. 3, 4, and 5 at the Toquet Hall in Westport and Feb. 10 at the Fairfield Theatre Company.

The lineup includes an excerpt from "Almost, Maine," by John Cariani, "Mandate," by Kelly Younger and to round out the program, a memorable scene from Pulitzer Prize-winner Neil Simon’s "Broadway Bound."

"Almost, Maine" is an almost mythical play about love and loss and mending hearts. On a lighter note, "Mandate," by Kelly Younger, explores the misunderstandings and hilarity that ensue when a wife tries to find a new friend for her husband. "Broadway Bound" is the final installment of Neil Simon’s autobiographical trilogy and portrays the young Neil Simon in a poignant pas de deux with his mother as she reminisces about the romances of her youth.

Actors for the February line-up include Cindy Hannah, Jim Schilling and Kate Katcher, all of whom are Connecticut- based.

Longtime favorite Matsu Sushi will be returning in February to cater to Westport audiences and Managing Director Inge Maki will be introducing Fairfield Japanese eatery Hana Tokyo to audiences at the Fairfield Theatre Company.

“Just like our audiences, we love to have our restaurants come back year after year, but it’s also wonderful to welcome new restaurants to the mix!” Maki said.

Tickets are $45 each and include lunch, theater and a talk-back with the actors and director. Remaining season tickets include the three monthly performances through April. For season schedule or to purchase tickets, visit www.jibproductions.org call the box office at 203-293 – 8729.
