Great American Love Songs: 7:30 p.m. The Park City Players perform a medley of love songs from artists such as The Beatles, Michael Buble, Carrie Underwood, Frankie Valle, Whitney Houston and Frank Sinatra at the Bijou Theatre in Black Rock. Encore performances are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. 275 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport.

Mid-Winter Book Sale: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Pequot Library hosts its annual Mid-Winter Book Sale to raise money for its programs. The sale continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. 720 Pequot Ave.
Men’s Hockey: Air Force at Sacred Heart: 4 p.m. Air Force and Sacred Heart’s NCAA Division I hockey teams face off at Bridgeport’s Webster Bank Arena. The two teams will play a second game at noon Sunday. 600 Main St., Bridgeport

Gin Blossoms Concert: 7:45 p.m. The alternative rock band performs an all-acoustic set of its hits at the Fairfield Theatre Company’s StageOne. 70 Sanford St.
