Rosh Hashanah: All Fairfield Public Schools are closed.

WWE Monday Night Raw: 7:30 p.m. World Wrestling Entertainment films its live show at Bridgeport’s Webster Bank Arena. Tickets range from $15 to $95 via Ticketmaster. 600 Main St., Bridgeport

Tuesday, Sept. 18

Creature Feature: 4 p.m. The Connecticut Audubon Society’s animal care volunteers bring out a critter in their charge for an educational kids’ program. Admission is a donation to the animal care program. 2325 Burr St.

Tech Topics: LinkedIn: 6:30 p.m. The Fairfield Public Library hosts a class on the basics of using the social networking site. The seminar is free. 1080 Old Post Road

Bridgeport Bluefish vs. Lancaster Barnstormers: 7:05 p.m. The Bluefish begin a three-game series at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Games are also scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. Ticket prices range from $8 to $20 at the team website. 500 Main St., Bridgeport

Board of Selectmen Meeting: 4:30 p.m. Fairfield’s executive board holds its regular meeting on the first floor of Sullivan Independence Hall. The meeting agenda is available online. 725 Old Post Road

Wildlife in Crisis: 7 p.m. Representatives from non-profit group Wildlife in Crisis talk about their work in animal preservation and habitat conservation at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Admission is a $5 suggested donation. 1875 Noble Ave., Bridgeport
