Artists Put Their Work In The Spotlight At Ridgefield's Art Walk

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The streets of Ridgefield were buzzing Friday evening, as businesses and cultural venues showed off the work of local artists as a part of Art Walk of Ridgefield.

On Friday, merchants on and around Main Street hosted opening receptions with featured artists. Sixty-two restaurants, businesses and cultural venues showcased the work of 80 artists in windows, on shop walls, and outside on the street.

The event will run for three weeks, concluding Sept. 12.

RMAC will be showcasing live music, and on Saturday, Aug. 22 some artists will give demonstrations.
