FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Author Mary Simses will be at the downtown Fairfield University Bookstore to discuss her new novel, "The Rules of Love & Grammar," on Thursday, June 16, at 7 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
The book is about a woman who finds love and closure, and rediscovers herself, when she returns to her roots.
Copies of "The Rules of Love & Grammar" will be available for purchase and signing at the downtown bookstore event.
Simses grew up in Connecticut and spent many years in New England working in magazine publishing and later as a corporate attorney, writing fiction on the side.
She is the author of the novel "The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe" and her short stories have appeared in a number of literary journals.
She lives in south Florida with her husband and their daughter.
