Branding Talk For Job Searchers Planned At Fairfield Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Job search specialist Melanie Szlucha will lead a presentation on branding at Fairfield Public Library on Thursday, Dec. 3.

"Marketing Yourself: Branding" will cover why job seekers must know what their value is to an employer, their accomplishments and how to be comfortable discussing them during an interview. 

Szlucha will give tips on how to make an effective introduction and find career accomplishments that will be attractive to prospective employers. 

The seminar begins at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room at the Main Library. 

Registration is requested. 

Szlucha has over 20 years of experience as a hiring manager and recruiter, and more than 10 years as a resume writer and job interview and job search coach. 

This presentation is part of the library’s award-winning Jobs series, now in its sixth year. 

The next Jobs series program this fall is “Advanced Resume Techniques” on Dec. 14.
