What Makes It Pasta Perfect: Locally owned and operated, Luigi's is known for its authentic dishes, including dishes like Ravioli al Formaggio, homemade ravioli filled with cheese and tomato basil sauce and Gnocchi con Broccoli. On Yelp, someone said, her husband "devours the linguine with red clam sauce like his own mama made it."
Worth Special Mention: Like the phoenix, this 40-year-old establishment renewed itself after a fire almost burned down the place, leaving only the main structure in 1978. A pizza oven that rotates was added in the rebuild. Owner Giulio Cavalli, a Fairfield resident and self-taught chef, prides himself on his longtime staff and decades long following.
