Fairfield Book Club Celebration Features Writer Sally Allen

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Writer and teacher Sally Allen will speak at Fairfield Library’s book club celebration at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Memorial Room.

Mix and mingle with other book clubs, share favorite reads and get ideas for successful book discussions. Special guest writer and teacher Sally Allen will talk about how to choose a focus for your book club, how to sift through the acres of new books published each year to find the right one for your group, and how to get the most out of your reading and discussion.

Allen is the author of “Unlocking Worlds: A Reading Companion for Book Lovers.” She is the founder and editor of Books, Ink at Hamlethub and leads book discussion groups and creative writing workshops. She has a doctorate in English education from New York University.

Come with a group, enjoy some light refreshments and celebrate reading with other book lovers. Registration is requested; click here to register.
