Fairfield Health Department Hosts Flu Clinic

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Health Department will host a flu clinic Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Public Health Nursing Office.

Flu vaccinations will be made available for anyone older than 5 years. Vaccines will be made available in both nasal spray and injection. The high-dose injection for seniors older than 65 is also available.

Medicare Part B, Connecticare, Aetna, Cigna and Anthem are all accepted, and there is no co-pay. Cash price for the flu vaccine is $25 and $45 for the pneumonia vaccine.

The Public Health Nursing Office is at 100 Mona Terrace.
