Fairfield Library To Host 'Healthy After Holidays' Talk

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Residents are invited to learn uncomplicated and realistic food and nutrition tips from culinary nutritionist Heather Carey at the Fairfield Library on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Carey is a culinary nutritionist who helps people make meaningful changes in their diets that will contribute to long-term health and fitness goals. She received her master's degree in clinical nutrition from New York University and her chef certification from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts. 

She will teach attendees how to shake off excess holiday weight gain and fatigue in a sensible way.
